Traveling the world and inward.
Being “here and now” is so much easier when the “here” is a new destination, a new connection, a new impression.
One day, I may figure out how to remain happily settled. Until then, I keep traveling, surfing the axes of space and time.
My story is privileged but not unusual in the Bay Area. I am an immigrant turned into an academic turned into a burned out Silicon Valley scientist, a mom, a sensitive person who finds refuge in the slower pace of travel. I love my work but do not live for it. I love my children more. I listen to the Grateful Dead a lot, and often wonder whether I’ve already visited Terrapin Station. I am hungry for meaning and intention.
If any of this resonates for you– welcome to these pages, to the here and now.
